Originally from Seoul, South Korea, Andy (Seungjoo) Kim has studied and lived across multiple countries, including the UK, the US, and Canada. Drawing from these diverse cultural backgrounds, Seungjoo seeks to explore the aesthetics and lifestyles of cultures across time and place, through distinct yet related presentation media, spanning art direction, filmmaking, photography, and fashion design. With each discipline strengthening the others, Seungjoo develops his own visual interpretation of the world - one where fashion and reality are intrinsically connected and cultural heritage is reimagined as a living presence within the contemporary.
